Real Estate Articles December 22, 2015

Planning to buy a house for you or your family? Well what kind of housing do you prefer? There are many popular types of residential Philippine real estate for sale in the market today that gives every Filipino the freedom to choose which type of housing best suits their needs. And each of these types of housing can offer different advantages to different residents.

Here are some advantages and disadvantages of living in each type of housing which you can use for your decision making.

There are two types of condominiums in the Philippines today. There are those found in the city while there are those found in the outskirts or even in provinces. Condominiums in the city are perfect for those Filipinos who work around the clock, particularly for those working in business and commercial districts such as Makati City and Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

Because condominiums are mostly found in those areas, residents were given the luxury of living within walking distance from their workplaces, a kind of necessity which is rare in other types of housing. However, these types of condominiums are usually unsuitable for a growing Filipino family which is why condominium complexes were introduced.

Condominium Complexes
Compared to condominiums in the city, these types of condominiums are mostly found in the outskirts or even in provincial areas. And unlike those condominiums in the city, condominium complexes are known to offer family-oriented environment in which many Filipino family can take advantage of.

Because of its location, residents can experience a more peaceful and relaxing environment compared to that of the city. In addition to that, condominium complexes have facilities that accommodate the needs of both adults and their children such as playgrounds, parks, swimming pools, gyms, and sports complexes.

The disadvantage of these types of housing, however, is its location. Another disadvantage that condominiums and condominium complexes share is its expensiveness, which is why most of its residents are wealthy.

Though not as popular as condominiums in today’s modern and fast-paced lifestyles, houses are still one of the most in-demand types of residential Philippine real estate. Part of the reason is because of its affordability.

Compared to condominiums and other types of housing, these typical houses are aimed to offer affordable homes to Filipinos, which makes up the majority of Filipinos. Because not all Filipinos can afford to live in a condominium nor a condominium complex, these houses have become in-demand in the Philippines.

The disadvantage of these types of residential Philippine real estate, however, is that these are not as modern as other types of housing. Its location may also be a disadvantage, though advantageous for Filipino families.
